Terry and Wendy Gunn are based out of their Lodge, Cliff Dwellers, on the Colorado River in Marble Canyon Arizona. Terry is one of the most respected guides in fly fishing. Wendy is regarded as one of the best women fly casters in the world. Together they deliver comfortable and clear lessons you can enjoy and understand.
Inside the Fly Shop Terry and Wendy go over the basic terminology used with fly rods, reels, and lines. They demonstrate all the simple knots you need to know to assemble your gear and start fishing. In general they unravel some of the mystique of fly fishing and put it in terms that the beginner can apply.
On the Water you’ll discover everything from assembling your gear, to fly casting, to learning how to fish. Such things as putting your rod together and tying on your leader all get coverd. Wendy starts you dry fly fishing by showing that critical dead drift, and Terry will advance your fishing knowledge with basic nymphing tactics.
